His shop originally being in Maradhana, where the second hand book business thrives. He has made it his lifelong ambition to specialize in rare books published about Sri Lanka. Starting his work life in the late 70’s he got into the business because he felt that he had to learn English.
These days he promotes his business at the Good Market held at Racecourse. Where many people with a need for old books, patronize his stall. He has been in this business for almost 40 years.
